Australian Baseball Tours presents Tragics Spring Tour to Japan 30th March to 7th April 2009 If you are a baseball tragic in need of a serious fit then this tour is for you.
Travel Japan by Bullet Train during spring whilst taking in Baseball, Castles, Shrines and sights. You might even be lucky enough to see the famous Cherry Blossoms.
This is your opportunity to experience one of the most amazing countries in the world whilst watching the game you love. . The Invitational High School Baseball Tournament is televised live across the country and watched by millions each day. We will be at Koshien stadium to watch the finals series whilst enjoying the spring sunshine with refreshments delivered to your seat. Visit famous stadiums and watch Japanese Pro League games.
The tour is based around Osaka and includes the following highlights; • Day trip to Hiroshima peace park and museum followed by a visit to Miyajima island and enjoy fresh local seafood whilst perusing the numerous gift shops and the Itsukushima Shrine whose massive gates are built in the sea. • An evening in the bustling Shin Sai Bashi and Dotonbori shopping districts • Travel to Kyoto to see the Golden Pavilion • Visit the Mizuno department store and giant electronics stores. • Tokyo side trip, includes 1 night and a baseball game (subject to game schedule).
